Video Inspection of Data Center Fuel Systems

Ensuring Mission Critical Systems Stay Online.

In order to ensure continuous uptime and minimize outages as much as possible, most data centers have immediate battery backup power source supplemented with a generator system on site. In data centers, backup power supply comes from a fuel generator, powered by diesel or natural gas.

Batteries are excellent for immediate access to power in the event of a line failure, but a fuel generator is necessary should the power outage extend beyond a few minutes or hours.

On a global scale, 3 percent of all electricity used in the world goes to data centers. In order to keep data centers running continuously and without interruption, electricity is required to power servers and cooling systems – both of which consume tremendous amounts of electricity.

If your data center requires a fuel generator system to ensure mission critical success, work with the eFI team to provide inspection and certification of your fuel system with our virtual services – and maintain facility security by reducing the number of onsite personnel and visitors.
